Corvionis

Why Corvionis

We focus on the stage where life science programs are most likely to fail

Most early-stage life science programs do not fail because the underlying science lacks promise. They fail because the systems required to translate science into clinical value are not effectively connected.

These structural gaps often become visible only when a program enters critical development stages, where the consequences can be costly, time-consuming, and difficult to reverse.

Corvionis GmbH was established to address precisely this challenge. We focus on critical stages in advanced therapy and early clinical development, helping companies reduce development risk, improve decision quality, and move programs toward IND, First-in-Human (FIH), and international clinical development.

We provide more than consulting

We do not only provide strategic recommendations. We support clients at critical development decision points with execution-oriented capabilities grounded in real project experience.

Our capabilities cover:

  • Preclinical and translational medicine strategy
  • IND support and regulatory pathway planning
  • FIH and early clinical development execution
  • Clinical operations and trial coordination
  • CRO and supply-chain management
  • Cross-border development and multi-system alignment

Our team has directly participated in and led:

  • Clinical medicine and patient management
  • Translational medicine and early-stage R&D
  • IND submissions and regulatory communication
  • FIH program design and execution
  • Clinical operations management
  • Cross-border strategy and partnership negotiations

As a result, we understand not only how programs should be designed, but also why they often fail to move forward in practice.

Why companies choose Corvionis

  • Direct involvement of the founding team in critical project execution
  • Real-world experience in FIH programs and IND support
  • Deep understanding of advanced therapy and early clinical development systems

Our belief

Success in life sciences is not determined by a single scientific breakthrough alone. It depends on whether science, regulation, clinical development, and commercialization can operate as a coherent execution system.

What truly causes failure is often the structural gap between systems, not the science itself.

The mission of Corvionis GmbH is to help innovative programs cross these gaps and build truly executable global development pathways.
